Team Chapels: FCA is providing Team Chapels (i.e. character, choices, team building) for numerous teams in the area. (If you are interested in having some for your team contact NOVA FCA @ 703-278-3970.)
Look for us as FCA will also be present and have a booth at many area-wide coaches and sport-specific clinics. (Let us know if there is a specific one you would like us to attend!)

I hope this letter finds you and yours doing well and looking forward to some spring-like golf weather. The FCA Coaches Ministry continues to grow and more things are happening all the time. I’m so glad that, in some way, you have all been a part of this exciting new ministry.
Cause: Attendance – outings, councils, banquets (you’ve been there for us at some time or another). "Thanks" for both your prayerful and/or financial support (some of you have been so faithful).
Effect: Kids, coaches and families have been eternally impacted due to the above kinds of support. Schools and communities have been influenced in an encouraging and positive way.
New Opportunities: We all get many in life but it’s what we do with them that counts.

COACHES COUNCIL
 Pictured here is a coaches meeting in Fairfax Co, set in No. VA taking a serious look at what happens in and outside the lines! Competition is important, but winning doesn't build a legacy - lives do. Coaches "Council" provides a peer influence for game strategy by gathering together weekly in a very informal setting to develop and grow in personal character while building in the lives of their own athletes.
BEHIND THE BENCH is a ministry of encouragement & challenge to Coaches' wives.

 COACH'S MANDATE
Most of you considering FCA have lots of ideas about coaching, but have you thought about the years of coaching experience gathered in 55 years of working alongside the best coaches in history. FCA is not ashamed of what has made greatness - prayer, fellowship and encouragement found from many others, and God's wisdom.
As your coaching juices flow, take a moment and make sure you have a complete game plan for success this season. Wins and losses only last from game to game, a relationship of building character and integrity with your players, can last a lifetime.

HEART OF A COACH
This fall, Rob Vartughian enters his fifth season as an assistant men’s soccer coach at the University of Maryland. During his first three seasons, he helped the Terrapins to three consecutive College Cup appearances and the 2005 NCAA title. more
