AAU & USSSA Tournaments: Our teams compete in several regional tournaments sponsored by national organizations with the desire to earn positions in the respective national tournaments.
VA Special Olympics: Annually our teams also provide volunteers at the Annual Virginia Northern Region Special Olympics Track & Field Meet at Hylton High School, usually on the 3rd weekend in May. For each of the past two years over 30 players and parents have served as helpers/buddies to the special Olympians during this wonderful event.
International Mission Trip: Of particular interest was the international mission trip in late June for the FCA Power 15u team. We partnered with the Global Youth Baseball Federation and conducting baseball academy training in two towns in Brazil for children ages 6-16. It is the goal of FCA Baseball to offer each subsequent 15u team the mission opportunities near the end of their spring season.

Dominican Republic
Baseball Mission Report 2008
As many of you know FCA Power Baseball sent a group of 15 year old boys to the Dominican Republic to teach and play baseball, visit sugar cane villages as well as spread the Good News of Jesus Christ every chance we could. During this visit we formed a special bond with Rico Carty, ex major league baseball player, and his program. In 2008 Rico's community was devastated with three hurricanes that took away what little most of the people had. Rico asked me if I could send some clothes to them. With the help of the FCA family and community I was able to send over 85 boxes of clothes to help clothe the people of Dominican Republic.
Attached is a magazine article published in their local magazine describing our efforts. The second page is the translation of the article. I want to thank everyone who helped contribute their time, money and clothes but especially prayers to help make this expression of love a reality.

| FCA Baseball is a ministry that seeks players that love the Lord Jesus Christ and have a desire to play this wonderful game at a high level. FCA Baseball’s goal is to develop young baseball players in their walk with the Lord and their baseball skills, while serving as a Christian witness to the communities in which we play. Each team activity begins with prayer and bible study as we prepare to use and develop the talent and skills provided to us by a loving God.

LEADERSHIP TEAM
There is a leadership board directing the program which is key to the growth and strong standing of this program. We are always open to adults interested in becoming a member of the leadership team as a coach or board member. You can request information regarding the FCA Baseball Chapter Board of Directors thru the President of FCA Baseball.
