     Heather Braucher has been on staff with FCA in Northern Virginia as a field representative since September 2010. She has been blessed to serve alongside her husband, Adam Braucher who has been on staff as a field representative since November 2009. Heather’s husband’s first year on staff offered her a year of learning and observing as well as volunteering with FCA; which ultimately lead to a tug from the Lord and a calling to serve on the FCA ministry team as a couple.

     Heather is originally from Upstate New York (Clinton, NY) and had the opportunity to attend McDaniel College (Westminster, MD) for her undergraduate as well as graduate study in Sports Psychology and Exercise science. She also had the opportunity to play collegiate field hockey there gaining honors such as Captain, MVP and a Conference Championship Title. She has always had a passion for the mind/heart/soul/body of being an athlete which began with youth sports, narrowed into a passion for field hockey and further developed with a 5-year career in strength and conditioning and sports performance training prior to joining FCA staff. She is excited to serve athletes and coaches, helping them to not only accomplish their God-given athletic goals but also the Lord’s purpose for their lives. Adam and Heather are celebrating the birth of their first child, Gracelyn Ivy Braucher, born on November 7, 2011!
