Laura is a native Northern Virginian and graduated from McLean High School, and then went on to graduate from Virginia Tech with a BS Degree in Marketing. In high school, Laura played soccer and swam. Laura has been married to her husband, Bill, since 1983. They have four wonderful children, Katie, Rob, Luke and Anna. Laura's passion to be in ministry has been passed on to her children. Before children, Laura was involved in starting a sports ministry at her church and competed in intramural softball and volleyball. Since children, Laura has been involved in numerous ways with all of her children's sports.
Laura is an Area Rep in the Western Fairfax Schools, but her focus will be to reach female athletes, huddle leaders and coaches and other women involved with FCA on a deeper level through resources, fellowship and discipleship.
Laura brings to our staff years of NOVA FCA history and organizational skills from years of volunteer and professional church staff youth ministry, homeschooling, involvement with local high school student services and running a busy home.
